There’s something special about making clothes. From drawing the patterns, cutting to fabric, to stitching it all together. I can loose myself completely in the proces, and forget all about my surroundings.
For me, making clothes is all about the craftsmanship. I like putting a lot of love in the clothes I make. And yes, this takes time.
Creating a garment for a person is all about listening. A garment is not just fabric and thread, it’s something to highlight what you love. And maybe hide the things you don’t love as much. It’s about showing the version of yourself you want to be.
My love for fashion stems from my love of drawing patterns. There’s just something magical about drawing something in 2D and imagine it coming to life in a garment on a body.
